My name is Michael Kim (or Dokyum Kim, Korean name) and this is my personal website. I am an Assistant Professor of Global, Nonprofit and Sustainable Communication at SUNY New Paltz. My research and teaching focus on the areas of communication for social change (CSC), global communication, nonprofit communication, ICT4D, and new media and NGO.
I am currently the elected (2022-2024) Student and Early Career Scholar Representative (SECR) of the International Communication Association (ICA), Global Communication and Social Change (GCSC) division.
